IMPACT Issue 4 (January 2012) focuses on Concordian International School's community-wide response to Thailand's 2011 floods, including donations of 408,000 Baht, 15,000 boiled eggs, and relief visits to Nakorn Pathom Province. The edition also features Kiki's solo art exhibition, student competition wins at the Junior Dublin Literary Awards, a Grade 12 scholarship winner's experience at Trinity College Melbourne, and new building updates.

Issue 4 of IMPACT, the magazine of Concordian International School, is the January 2012 edition, published as Thailand recovered from severe flooding and the school welcomed the Year of the Dragon. Much of the issue is devoted to the community's flood relief response. Director Varnnee Ross describes visiting flooded villages in Nakorn Pathom Province, where 145 households had been under water for nearly two months, and Concordian donated 150 survival bags, 290 packs of rice, 180 life vests, three floating toilets and a water filter. Across all its efforts the school reports raising more than 408,000 Baht for flood relief. The Boiled Eggs Project ran for six consecutive weeks and collected roughly 15,000 boiled eggs distributed through the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, while the PTA's Run Fight Flood charity run drew about 400 participants. The library team moved over 30,000 books and items to higher ground over a 12-hour effort, closing for about six weeks.

The issue also honors His Majesty the King's 84th birthday and shares notes from Director Varnnee Ross, Aj. Vichitvong Chanarat, High School Principal Dr. James Leung, and EYP/PYP Principal Laurent Goetschmann, who writes on international mindedness, routines and family support for learning. PYP counselor Suzie Shih outlines the counseling program for younger students.

Student achievements feature prominently. Concordian had the largest number of students selected for the final round of the 7th Junior Dublin Literary Awards of Thailand, with Thip winning second runner-up and Aei the consolation prize nationally, and winning creative pieces appear in full. Grade 12 student Ping shares her Young Leadership Scholarship experience at Trinity College, University of Melbourne, and Prima (Grade 10) had a photograph selected for the Snap Shot 2011 Teenager's Photographic Prize in New South Wales.

Further coverage spans Early Years and Primary Units of Inquiry, the Primary and MYP Student Councils (whose Fun Fair raised 40,000 Baht, split between the Princess Pa Foundation and a veterinary association), Grade 8's Pleonchit Fair science booth, Grade 9 physics essays on electromagnetic waves, the IB Diploma Program's CAS projects and IB Retreat, the CIS Athletic Program, a Christmas concert, Kiki's art exhibition, scholarship and admissions announcements, and updates on the new Science, Art and Technology Center and PYP Learning Center.
