Issue 37 of Impact, the Summer Issue for June 2023, closes out the 2022-2023 academic year at Concordian International School. Edited by Dessy Delevaux, it opens with the school community paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on her birthday on June 2, 2023. The showcase section celebrates Thai music achievements: Grade 12 student Raiwin (Hui Hui) Sae Zhang, accepted to Northwestern University in the US, reflects on her sixteen-year journey, while Rika (G8), Don (G5) and Dol (G5) won medals at the Burapha Music Contest at Burapha University on April 8-9, 2023, with Rika earning silver for the Khim and Don and Dol earning gold for the Ranad-Ek.
The edition documents a return to full in-person activities after three years of Covid restrictions. The student-organized Zanook Fest, held April 4, 2023 and drawing over 500 attendees, raised more than 170,000 baht for charity, including over 80,000 baht for the Baan Dek Foundation through the Dunk Tank. Songkran was celebrated across Early Years, Primary and Secondary, where the Thai Department staged "The Legend of Siam." Career Day took place April 22, 2023 for Grades 9 to 12.
