Concordian International School's Winter 2020 issue covers Grade 9/10 Week Without Walls to Angkor Wat, Grade 11's School Build in Mae Hong Son, the OZ musical production, Centerstage 9th season, and the Chinese Embassy Cup writing competition where 28 of 35 awarded essays came from Concordian.
Issue 27 of Impact, the magazine of Concordian International School in Bangkok, is the Winter Issue dated January 2020, covering the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year. Editor Megan Ames frames the edition around students taking risks on stage, entering competitions, venturing outside the classroom and giving back through service. The issue is dedicated to the school's beloved Security Supervisor Khun Rung, a founding staff member who had been with Concordian since it opened nineteen years earlier and who died after a battle with cancer.
The PYP sections highlight Early Years inquiry and learning, the ninth season of Centerstage on October 17, 2019, with 28 performances by 66 students, and the Concordian Fall Book Fair, which restocked the library with materials worth 45,131 THB from ten vendors. Other features include the Grade 5 Chiang Mai trip from November 25 to 29 for all 70 students, Battle of Numbers ahead of the 100 Days of School event, and a G5 digital citizenship infographics project. Secondary School coverage spans student clubs such as Aperture, Cookbook (which raised 20,000 baht for an orphanage through Foodie Week), Grin Green and PRISM, plus High School Spirit Week and Middle School house competitions.
Athletics results include the G7U Girls Basketball team winning both the AISAA League and Tournament undefeated, Track and Field winning over 30 medals and the Spirit Award, the G10U Girls Football team becoming AISAA Tournament Champions, and Dragon Golf placing first in the nett team score.
