Issue 10 (April 2014) of Concordian International School's IMPACT magazine features the Class of 2014 university acceptances, a Junior Dublin Literary Awards national winner, TISAC badminton championships, IB PYP re-authorization, Harvard Model Congress Asia 2014, the PYP musical 'Little Stazia's Storybook', and alumni updates from UCLA and Quest University.

Issue 10 of Impact, the summer issue dated April 2014, is the final edition of the 2013-2014 school year for Concordian International School in Bangkok. In her Editor's Note, Shelley Harris introduces a special feature reprinted with permission from Rachel Macy Stafford, author of the parenting book Hands Free Mama, whose essay "The Bully Too Close to Home" reflects on the difference between striving for excellence and striving for perfection. A message from the Board of Trustees thanks the community and invites parents to serve.

The Concordian Showcase celebrates a run of achievements. Grade 10 student Oum Anchiraya was named the nationwide and regional winner of the 9th Junior Dublin Literary Awards for Thailand for her essay "Behind the Mask," earning a 50,000 baht cash award and a trip to Dublin, with fellow finalists Joshua (G12) and Daven (G11). The lower-secondary band Crimson Hall took 3rd place at the TISAC Battle of the Bands, and in the UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, students earned 5 Gold, 9 Silver and 22 Bronze certificates. The issue also publishes the University Acceptance List for the Class of 2014 (as of March 25), spanning institutions in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Thailand and Switzerland, with several scholarships and conditional UK offers tied to the May IB examinations.

Features cover athletics reports across U-9 to U-15 football and the senior badminton team at TISAC, the Yellow Canary Art Gallery exhibition of senior IB Visual Arts students' work before more than 200 viewers, and a short story, "Greed," by Vasin Vongchaiyasit (Boss, Grade 10).

A Special Feature, "Making a Difference in the IB World," details Concordian's recognition by the IB, including Ms. Aloha Lavina's work at The Hague and Singapore and the school hosting IB Regional Workshops for MYP. Other coverage spans the Values Program color initiative, alumni letters from Ping (UCLA) and Jeannie (Quest University), Harvard Model Congress Asia 2014 in Hong Kong, a PYP IB authorization visit, the PYP Musical "Little Stazia's Storybook," the EYP Winter Concert, the high school production of Where the Wild Things Are, and EYP and PYP Sports Days.
